Customers pay in ETH, USDC or USDT on Ethereum. Your prices stay in fiat; Axle quotes the crypto amount at checkout.

USDT is mainnet-only because Tether publishes no official Sepolia deployment, and the USDT contracts that exist on testnets are unofficial mocks with no reliable backing.
Token contracts
These are the contract addresses Axle verifies transfers against. Confirm them independently on a block explorer before trusting any address, since look-alike tokens with the same name exist.

Quotes
- Rates come from CoinGecko, cached for 30 seconds.
- A quote is locked for 20 minutes from when the customer picks a currency.
- Stablecoins are quoted at their market rate, not assumed to be exactly $1.

Beta limits
- Only allowlisted merchants can accept live mainnet payments. Others receive
canary_merchant_not_allowed. - Payments are capped at a USD-equivalent maximum (currently $10 on the free plan). Larger ones are rejected with
canary_payment_cap_exceeded. - To be allowlisted or have the cap raised, email axlepay.support@gmail.com.
Not supported yet
Bitcoin, Solana and other chains, and wallets other than browser wallets like MetaMask, aren't supported. Each is a separate integration rather than a config change. If you need one, tell us at axlepay.support@gmail.com.
